Last Blog

I just finished up my essay, and now I'm creating my last blog.

For my last blog, I want to write about this blog assignment. Frankly, when Mrs. Kelly told us about this assignment, I thought that I did not want create 2 blogs per week because I though that would make me frustrated for sure. Besides, I thought that nobody gave me a comment because I was an international student and my writing was terrible.

Actually, creating 28 blogs was not easy for me. But, I was really glad that some people commented on my blogs. Those comments have helped me to create blogs.

Lastly, thank you all who read my blogs.

Summer I & Summer II

I've already registered summer classes. I am taking PFW which is jogging class and history for summer I. For summer II, I am taking US seminar and economics. I like summer school because there are not a lot of people on campus. I don't like a place that there are many people. In addition, we can get credits in a month, that is really great. So, summer school is really fit for my style.

I can't wait this semester is over!

I have created 25 blogs, and now I am create a blog, so I need 2 more blogs.

I woke up around noon, and I had late break fast while watching TV. Then I listened music, and I started to make a beat with my guitar. When I make a beat, I usually use my computer which includes DAW softwafre. But, today, I felt like playing guitar. After that, I went to Austin to get new DAW software with my brother. I like the gutar center a lot and that makes me really happy. I played guitar and keyboad for a while, and I got a new software. Then, we went to a Korean market, and we got some Japanese foods.

I have my friend's birthday party tonight, but I'm think if I am going or not because I'm really tired now.

Lazy...

I am not active at all, and I like spend free time alone. In my free time, I am watching movie, making beats, playing a guitar. They are my hobbies. But, sometimes, I think I want to be more active, and actually, I tried to make me active. I could't it though, and I'm still lazy.

Now I am deciding that I am going to be more active because yesterday, my friend said to me that I should be more active on Facebook. Actually, my facebook account was created by a American chick, and she taught me little how to use it. But, I hardly ever use it because I always forget about my Facebook. My facebook activity is just confirming people's friend request.

Facebook will be my starting point to be an active guy.

I can't wait

My girlfriend is coming back on May 14th. She is a student in this University, and she went back Japan for seeking a job. When I went back Japan in winter break, we had dating many time. She was RA of San Jacinto, but she is living in an apartment next semester. I don't want to say that I don' like living in a dorm, but it really depends on a roommate. So, I prefer to live in an apartment.

I'm meeting her for the first time in 4 months, so I am so exited, and I can't wait!

Hip Hop

I just woke up, and I'm listening a song, called crank a bottle by Eminem on YouTube. I love Hip Hop, and my favorite is Jay-z and Lil' Wayne, but I like Eminem too. HOWEVER, I have no idea what they are saying. So, I sometimes check their lyrics out on the internet. That is one of my pleasures when I listen Hip Hop.

Now, I'm listening "We Made You" by Eminem. I like this a lot. American music is much better than Japanese music. I love it.

One more

I finished a test, and I have one more test. But it's okay because it's Thursday. Next week is final week, and when next week is over, we have summer break!! I will take classes in summer I and summer II. But, I have about 1 month vacation since I don't take mini session. I can't wait. I hope everybody has safe vacation.

I will be back to study for the test.

Tests!

Spring semester is almost done. BUT, I have two tests tomorrow. I hate tests. I always start to study for a test on the day before the test day even though I am a international student. Almost all international students are smart because they study a lot. For example, GPA of my Japanese friends in here are above 3.50 even though they are junior and senior. I think they are just crazy. But, I like the testing format in this University because every test is multiple choice. Japanese schools' tests are based on writing, and we have no multiple choice questions. Besides, my friends told me that questions of this University's tests are much easier than those of Japanese universities' tests.

Anyway, I don't like tests.

BBQ!

Yesterday, I had a BBQ in the Canyon Lake with my friends from San Antonio. That was my first time to go to the Canyon Lake. I am not sure, but I think that it is in New Braunfels. I was the only person who go to there from San Marcos, and I checked the BBQ place out by Google before I was going. Google is my best friend!

HOWEVER, I got lost after all. I called my friend again and again, but English really really made me frustrated, and I was so confused. I felt the way to go to the Canyon Lake was such a long way. I took 1 hour, and finally I got the BBQ place in the Canyon Lake.

BBQ was really fun, and Canyon Lake was so beautiful. It was like sea, so I remembered my home island in Japan. Now, I understand how to get there, so I want to go to the Canyon Lake again.

Sunday...

Weekend goes by really fast, and Sunday always makes me sad. I have a lot of stuffs to do, and I am writeing essay now.

On Saturday night, I had a bowling party with my friends. We made 2 groups which were divided in guys and girls. We had 6 girls and 5 guys, and we competed for free drinks which losers treated. We had two games, and the girl team won twice. Actually, my score was not bad because my score of the first game was 179 and that of the second game was 147. We lose though. But that was fun!


I have to work on the essay now.

Terrible Week

I really need to catch up on blogs since I have only 18 posting now.

Well, this week was really hard for me because I had two projects, one test and one essay. Especially, the projects made me really tired. Actually, one of the projects was assigned beginning of this semester. When it was assigned, I was like, "oh come on that is too early," and of course, I did not work on the project until this week. But I was REALLY touched with remorse. That was too big and too impotant project which is worth of 300 points. Yesterday, I FINALLY finished it up...

Singers!

This is my second posting today. Posting two blogs per week is hard work for me because I can't write fast and ideas for blogs don't enter my mind. Anyway, I will write about myself.

When I was in Japan, I and my brother had an big audition for singers. We wanted come out as singers because we are good at singing. Then we passed. When we passed the audition, we were pleasured because we could come out as singers.

BUT, the organizer for the audition was a producer of the most famous boys group in Japan. They are like Backstreet boys in the United States. That's so GAY! you know? That news made us really really disappointed. We didn't know that when we got to the audition.

That's why now we are here.

2 weeks

My mother came from Japan and stayed in my apartment for 2 weeks. I was glad to take her some places such as the outlet mall and Austin because she looked so happy. The most interesting thing was that we talked a lot everyday until midnight. We misunderstood each other. For example, my mother thought that I liked fruit flavor milk in Japan, but I don't like that. On the other hand, I thought that my mother liked cooking of eggplants, but she don't like it. They were new fundings for us. We laughed a lot, and time that she stayed in here was really happy for me, so time flashed by.

Next time, I want to go trip with my family.

English....

English always makes me frustrated. If I am able to write sentences in English just like Americans, creating a blog does not take long time. If I am able to read English fast without a dictionary, reading a textbook does not take long time and I can understand the contents easily. If I am able to speak English like Americans, I can be more extrovert and I can express my feeling well.

This semester will be finished in about one month. But, I have a lot of things to do, like tests, pepers, presentations and projects.

English, that is my only problem.

My Mother

Yesterday, my mother came to Texas fom Japan. Around 12am, she got to Austin airport, and I and my brother picked her up.

Today, we went to Target and bought some stuffs. I did not eat her cooking for a while, so she made several Japanese foods for us. They really taste good to us. She will be stay in San Marcos for two weeks. I would like to take her the Outlet Mall, and I'm sure that she will be surprised by that size.

Japanese Traditional Dance!

I will perform Japanese traditional dance, called Soran Bushi in Austuin tomorrow night. Actually, I performed this dance on the talent show at this University with some Japanese. When we perform Soran Bushi, we always wear special clothes, called Happi, which is like kimono. Since this dance is in motif of fishermen on fishing boat, this dance is really tough. For example, after dancing this, I am not always able to move anymore.

I have a practice to dance tonight. That will make me tired for sure...

WBC

During spring break, I watched World Baseball Classic, and Japan made me really exited.

Actually, Japan had 8 games in WBC, and Japan had 5 gemes with South Korea, including the final. Before the final, Japan was 2-2 with South Korea. South Korea always has a rivalry against Japan even though Japan does not care about them.

The final was a really good game, and Japan got a victory against South Korea in 10 innings.

On WBC, Japan got second straight win! Ichiro is a hero for Japanese people after all!

We won!

On Moday, I have a intramural softball game. That was a really good game! Last time, my team lose, so we had to win to move into finals. Our opposing team looked really strong, and actually, they were good at playing softball. Our team skills were absolutely lower than them.

However, we won! The score was 11 to 10. I smacked 2 homers over the game, and I drove in 7 runs. That was really exited.

A Gift

I bought a gift for my girlfriend because her birthday is coming on 14th.

Since I didn't know what kind of thing she likes, choosing a gift for her was hard work. According to my stereotype, every girl likes jewelry. So I bought jewelry from Tiffany&Co. I had really no idea how much jewelry is. The price made me surprised. That was $250.

Anyway, I think that jewelry is for her, so I'm happy if she like it.

Intramural softball

Yesterday, I had a intramural softball game. Since that was a late game which is around 11pm, I was really tired, and really cold.Last week, we won by defoult, so that was our first game.

The opposing team looked really strong because almost all of them have experiences to play softball or baseball. On the other hand, our team has only 3 people who have experiences to play baseball, including me.

Before the start of the game, I had thought we would be badly defeated. However, first part of the game, we was ahead. We allowed the tyning run, and in the extra-inning game, we lose after all. But, that was a really good game, and that was fun.

Intramural

On Monday, I was supposed to have a softball game, yet the opposing team did not show up, so my team won!

That made me disapointed, but one of my teammates could not take part in the game because she forgot her school ID, so that was good to our team.

Next game is Monday at 11p.m. which is really late. I am really exited though!

I hope that next oppsing team will show up the game.

Weekend

Last week, I had an essay, a project and two tests. That was a terrible week.

When I finished all of them, I was really happy, and this weekend, I went to Austin to get some Japanese foods. The Japanese foods always makes me happy.

I went to a Krean market since a Japanese market is more expensive. I got an awesome seasoning called Mentsuyu, which makes almost all foods better. I also got a Krean BBQ sauce, and this tastes really good too.

After that I went the guitar center.

I love Austin.

Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's day. Of course, there is Valentine's day in Japan, yet our Valentine's day is little different from that of the U.S. In Japan, girls give chocolates to guys on the day, and guys never give anything to girls. So, on the day, guys are waiting for girls' chocolates because Valentine's day is the day confess their love to guys.

I have a girlfriend in Japan, and she sent me chocoletes. Even though guys don't do anything, I bought some flowers for her on the internet, and a florist took them to her house with my message card. That was really good surprise because she told me she got really happy.

My Valentine's day was sweet. 　

last weekend

On last Saturday, I played basketball with my brother and my friends. That was my first time to play basketball with Americans , and that was a great experience. When I was in Japan, I used to play basketball with my friends, and I was not bad actually. But, I realized that Americans were really good at playing basketball when I played with them. I was completely powerless. But, that was really fun.

On Sunday, I practiced softball for intermural. As I mentined on last blog, I like baseball and I am good at playing baseball, so I am really looking forward to that. The practice was really fun too.

My weekend was athletic.

Baseball

I like sports. Baseball is my favorite, and I like to play baseball.

I started to practice baseball, when I was 5 years old, and I got into a baseball club team, when was 8 years old. I practiced for 10 years until I graduated from a high school. Therefore, I am goot at playing baseball.

Do you know the World Baseball Classic? That is a baseball competition, like World Cup of soccer. This competition is annual, and the first winner for this was Japan. The second time of this competition is coming on March. I hope Japan will be the winner again.

the Guitar Center

Have you been the Guitar Center in Austin?

I went to there last weekend with my brother. Well, I have a brother who is also going the Texas State, and we are twins. Anyway, the Guitar Centar was awesome! When I was in Japan, sometimes went to a music store, and that is my pleasure.

I know there is an music shop in San Marcos, but that place doen't make me satisfied because the shop has just guitars and bases.

However, I finally found the Gutar Center. I'm thinking to go to there this weekend too, and I can't wait.

San Marcos

This is my second posting, and I would like to write about why I chose this university from various choices.

When I was in Japan, I was going to an English conversation school which was not helpful to develop my convesation skill. In the school, an American teacher recommended me to go to this Unversity because she was going to this University. According to her, Texas is warm all year around, and that is good for me since I hate cold weather. Also, ESL of this University is really good even though it is difficult. I have some choices even in Texas, for example U.T. But I did not want to go to there because U.T. is kinda difficult for me.

Now, I sometimes think that I should have chosen a University in a city which is urbanized such as New York and Los Angeles, and I actually wanted to go such places, but I also strongly think that San Marcos is really good place to study and I like here.

First Blog

My first blog will be about my opinion toward English class. Actually, English is the class that I hate most for two reason. First, since I am not a native, I am not able to write essay like a native. For example, when I have to write a essay in class, I always get behind other people. In addition, writing essay in English really makes me frustrated because I have to very consider grammar. Also, I do not know a lot of words, so I have to use a dictionary to know words.  Therefore, these things always makes me slow to write. 

Second, every English class is based on discussion. This is also makes me frustrated because I can not speak like a native. Since I am not able to speak English well, speaking English in front of Americans is very ashamed and scary.
